Born on September 1, 1997, Joan Mir Mayrata is a Spanish motorcycle racer who competes in the MotoGP World Championship for the Repsol Honda Team. Mir gained notoriety after he and Suzuki won the 2020 MotoGP World Championship. After Àlex Crivillé, Jorge Lorenzo, Marc Márquez, and Lorenzo, he is the fourth Spanish rider and the second Mallorcan to win the premier class title. Born in Palma In the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, Joan Mir participated for two seasons in 2013 and 2014. In 2014, he finished as the runner-up behind Jorge Martín, with three victories and six podiums. In 2015, Mir competed in the CEV Moto3 Junior World Championship. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What makes Joan Mir MotoGP race replica suits different from standard track riding jackets?
Joan Mir race replica suits feature track-precision construction engineered for closed-circuit performance, unlike general riding jackets designed for street use. These suits incorporate CE-rated armor placement matching Joan's exact specifications across the 2020 championship suit through 2024 Repsol Honda replicas. Hand-stitched genuine cowhide and kangaroo leather provide superior abrasion resistance and durability during high-speed cornering. Our made-to-measure service at leathercollection.com/made-to-measure ensures your replica matches Joan's fit perfectly. Every seam, panel, and armor pocket reflects 15+ years of craftsmanship dedicated to race-level protection and performance.
How are Joan Mir race leathers hand-stitched and what cowhide specifications ensure CE armor protection?
Hand-stitching at Leather Collection locks every seam with reinforced thread, creating strength that outlasts machine stitching on track. We use full-grain cowhide minimum 1.4mm thickness combined with 1.2mm kangaroo leather paneling for flex without compromise. CE armor pockets are positioned to match Joan Mir's actual race suit specifications, accommodating Level 1 and Level 2 armor inserts at shoulders, elbows, and back. Our leathercollection.com/size-chart guides custom measurements for optimal armor alignment. Each Joan Mir replica undergoes hand-finishing to ensure leather breathability, durability, and certified protection during racing.
Can I get a Joan Mir 2020 championship suit versus a 2024 Repsol Honda replica for the same track performance?
Both the 2020 Suzuki GSX-RR championship suit and 2024 Repsol Honda replica deliver identical track performance in terms of CE protection and abrasion resistance. The 2020 suit features Suzuki's iconic race colors and Joan's championship-winning design, while the 2024 Repsol version reflects his current Honda livery and specifications. Custom design options at leathercollection.com allow you to choose either year's aesthetics while maintaining full protection standards. Our hand-stitched construction and premium cowhide ensure durability regardless of replica year selected, ships to 50+ countries with 24hr support.
Which Joan Mir race suit should I choose for street riding versus closed circuit racing?
For closed-circuit track days, any Joan Mir MotoGP race replica delivers full CE-rated protection with armor positioned for racing dynamics. For street riding, consider the fit and flexibility of the hand-stitched genuine leather—full-grain cowhide breaks in smoothly for daily comfort. Track suits prioritize panel placement for aggressive cornering angles; street-friendly versions offer slightly roomier cuts. Reference leathercollection.com/size-chart for your intended use to optimize sizing. Our made-to-measure option lets you blend track aesthetics with street wearability, ensuring your Joan Mir replica serves your exact riding style and conditions.
How do I measure for a custom Joan Mir MotoGP replica to match his exact fit and sizing?
Accurate measurements ensure your Joan Mir replica fits like his race suit. Start with leathercollection.com/size-chart, which covers chest, waist, sleeves, inseam, and shoulder width—each critical for armor alignment and mobility. Provide photos of your current riding position and any fit preferences.
